The Datum Yellowstone Supervolcano is the Datum Earth version of the volcanic caldera located in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, the United States. It measures about 55 by 72 km.[1]
The Long War
A super eruption occured in 2040. It began on September 8, at about 1pm Madison time, and lasted for 7 days. The entire caldera opened up, and later collapsed. It caused earthquakes and blocked out the sun, meaning that several parts of Datum Earth had to be abandoned.[2]
The Long Mars
During the aftermath of the explosion, Joshua Valienté and Sally Linsay volunteered to help evacuate people, which included the Brewers and an extreme phobic called Meryl.[3]
Trivia
In real life, the three most recent Yellowstone super eruptions occured 640,000 years ago, 1.3 million years ago, and 2.1 million years ago.[1]
