Categories for families

Heeeeello!

Pretty excited about The Long Cosmos! Can't wait to get a copy haha!

Was thinking about how we don't have pages to link family names to, when they're written on pages. For example "The Greens stepped to Earth West 101,754."

We could make category page called "Greens", and put all the members of the family in it. Then have a redirect page, also called "Greens", that takes you to it. (Checked it out and yes, you can redirect to category pages.)

Just tried it out, using the Greens as an example. What do you think?

Well, went to a bookshop in Paris two days ago but they told him they'll have it next week :(

So I'll have to wait a bit, in the meanwhile, started to read a French comic to keep me waiting. Good thinking about the families. Wanted to do such categories for a while but where not sure since there weren't a lot of families at the time but some "characters" are only mentionned this way like the 'Bells' who lived in New Springfield.

In that specific case (the Bells), not sure if they deserve a page for themselves. What's your opinion?

Sure, that sounds good. For the Bells, we could do something like we did with the Brewers - a normal page for the whole family?

Also, do you think the page should be called "The Greens" or "Greens" or just "Green"?

Btw, don't think I'll be able to get a copy very quickly either haha :)

Yes, I guess a normal page with the whole family should do the trick.

"Greens" is good (if you're talking about the category page). But here's one reason why I didn't do it : Oliver, Marina, Nikos and Lydia are named "Irwin" right?

But the woman who welcomed Nelson at the USLONGCOM facility in The Long Mars is also called Irwin as well, so that raise the question of those characters being related or not.

There are also several Boyds and Brewers mentionned in the books without any evidence of them being related. Quite tricky, no?

True. I guess we don't include Louise in the "Irwin" category, because it's never mentioned that she is related to the others? I would say that it's just the authors reusing names haha :P

Yes, better leave her out of it :)
