What do you think of the titles within a page?

Hola!

Right now, the titles inside a page reflect mostly what we learn from book to book :

==The Long Earth==

Blablabla

==The Long War==

Blablabla

And so on.

I took the inpiration of the current layout from here :

http://awoiaf.westeros.org/index.php/Jaime_Lannister

(see "Recent events" where each content is separated by the book title, in order to keep from spoiling people I suppose).

I was actually looking at other wikis where they use titles that reflect more the "story arc".

For example, for Sally's adventures during the events of "The Long War", it would be something like "==Saving the trolls==" (no time to come up with something catchier haha) instead of good ol' plain "==The Long War==".

See example here : http://www.comicvine.com/madrox/4005-7910/

So, should we change the titles layout or stick to what we currently have?

I created the page Sally Linsay Temporary to have a better idea of what I'm talking about.

Yes, I think that's a fantastic idea - I like how it breaks the longer pages up more. Looks very nice on the trial Sally Linsay one.

If we wanted we could also keep book titles, to, like you say, keep from spoiling people. We could have book titles as headings, and "story arc" titles as sub-headings (like the timeline).

That's actually a good compromise.

Well, seems like I added more work to myself :D

Finished writing Snowy's page (for the infos from TLM at least) and implemented the new sub-titles layout.

I think the style of the sub-titles is not "visible enough", sure the text is bigger but it doesn't really "stand out" from the regular text.

To make the sub-headings more visable, we could bold or underline them.
